January is such a downer month. Once you put all of the Christmas decorations away, the house looks dull. Outside everything is brown and frozen. You can only hope for a snow storm to brighten everything up. We didn't have but merly a dusting of snow all of January this year! Kaleb was all excited to build a snowman, but we never had enough snow.
I attended a baby shower brunch on Jan. 18th for Jessie DeWilde. She is expecting her first child early March. She is the cutest pregnant person ever - barely has a little basketball belly. It was fun seeing all the new baby items. The food was delicious at Herbies and the service was wonderful - they let 9 ladies chit chat for almost 4 hours!

I had another doctor's apt. on Jan. 19th. Kaleb and I were both off of school and work, so he came along to Dr. Herrmann's office. He behaved wonderfully and got to stand on a chair and watch as Dr. Joe did the sonogram. Kaleb told him that "the picture was his baby sister!" The sonogram didn't provide any good pictures, so nothing fun to post. I also had my streph test - came back negative. Yippee!
We also attended the Davis' twins 3rd birthday party on Jan. 24th at their house in Wentzville. It was a full party with lots of little people under the age of 5! The girls got lots of cute presents. Kaleb enjoyed chasing their dog Padro around and wouldn't stop talking about the toy microphones Ashley and Savannah had. So on Sunday we ventured to Target to score a microphone for Kaleb.
