12 week Dr. apt

I had my 12 week OB appointment this week and all is good. Our doctor (Dr. Joe) is really great and takes ultrasound pictures at each visit. It was amazing how much the baby changed in 4 weeks. I could clearly see the backbone, fingers, head, eyes and mouth. The little creature looked a bit freakish but was really active. The heart rate is still really strong, again Dr. Joe said it was a chic. I am glad to be past the 1st trimester and will hopefully start getting some energy back and perhaps make less trips to the restroom!

Our next visit is Oct. 30th and if the baby cooperates, we should be able to determine its gender!
