Zoo fun

Kaleb got to visit the St. Louis Zoo twice in one week! We met up with Dennis' brother Kenny, his wife Cynthia and their children's families on Saturday, July 26th. Kenny's son Matt has a son, Kohen, that is just 5 months younger than Kaleb. The boys love playing with each other at all the Lamons' family get togethers. Kenny hooked everyone up with a Safari Pass after a horribly long line and wait. The pass got us on the train, carousel and into the children's zoo -what more could a kid ask for! We managed to see most of the animals before the temperatures got too hot. Kaleb had a blast and got his wish to see alligators, lions and penguins! Kaleb was asleep before our car was out of the parking lot!





Kaleb went back to the zoo on Tuesday, July 29th with Papa and Gramy Markham. This time he got to experience the new dinosaur exhibit and elephants! He wasn't a fan of the dinosaurs, they were so large, animated and very loud! They tried to beat the July heat by starting early, but it didn't take long before the temperatures were in the 90s! Kaleb loved riding the train and carosel with Papa. As soon as Gramy gets her pictures deleloped (I know, who has 35 mm film these days?!) I will post a few.
