We hit the road to Evanville last weekend to visit our favorite Evansville residents - the Ferris Family. We were joined in Evansville by the Walls family (Jason, Katie, Dylan and Colin), up from Princeton, KY. Dennis made record time on the road and Kaleb didn't mind sitting tight in his car seat watching his DVD player. We had a great bbq Friday night along with a couple root beer float shots. The kids, 5 boys - all under 5, played along wonderfully! They all played either outside or in the playroom while the adults got to play a new card game called golf. Saturday Jeff and Dennis hit a few garage sales in the area and Dennis picked up a decent set of golf clubs. We went out for a yummy Mexican lunch and spent the late afternoon enjoying Cathy's grandma's pool! The boys were fearless in their "duck" life vests, jumping off of the diving board.
We also got to pick up Dennis' set of corn hole boards that a friend of Jeff's made. Corn holes is the latest yard game that you play with bean bags filled with corn kernels. They were custom painted with the Mizzou logo and will a big hit at future bar-b-ques in St. Louis!
It was a great weekend of hanging out with good friends and getting away from the dreaded weekend chores around the house! Thanks for hosting Ferris' family!

Jen - We really enjoyed our visit with everyone! Can't wait till the next event. The kids did wonderful and that made it a fun time for all of us. Jason is doing much better and will be ready for some hang out time.
