Monday was Kaleb's first day of preschool. Over the weekend we got all of the items on the supply list, labeled them carefully and prepared ourselves mentally for this new adventure. We took a couple 1st day of school photos to mark the event. Kaleb was such a big boy, he didn't cry once, mom on the other hand..
He walked through the schools' halls right to his class room. Took a few minutes to check it all out and eventually opened up by offering his teacher his new monkey pillow that he was clutching onto for dear life.
His first week was great, the daily report was fun to read each night once we picked him up. Nap time wasn't as challenging as we had thought, perhaps he was so exhausted from all the fun. He is doing good with the menu too. I am sure he impressed quite a few the first day with his pasta eating skills. A helicopter landed at the school Thursday for a brief show and the ice cream truck stopped by on Friday. I think the playground time is Kaleb's favorite, he can't stop talking about it each night! He also learned the song "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

They grow up so fast. The twins start this year and Kindergarten the next. Sounds like he is having fun. We are looking forward to next weekend at the Ferris'. Talk to you all soon!
